When I transmit an IR Signal straight out of Winlirc (
for example : tv-prog+/up ,repeats 2 ) it works fine &
snappy. The VCR or TV responds smoothly & transmission
succes rate is about 90-95% !

When I try to transmit a signal via Transmit.exe
through the command line "transmit MYJVCREMOTE
tv-prog+/up reps 2 " , I see the Winlirc tray icon
sending (blue light) but the VCR/TV is not responding
,except when I send 7 or 8 repeats of that signal (
running it as a batch file ) , and even then the succes
rate is only about 40-50% which is not really adequate
for programming or scheduling recordings.
I have tried using both WinLirc 0.6.4 & 0.6.5 and they
both exhibit the same behaviour.

I would like to use Transmit.exe in combination with
batch files to automate all my ( VCR's & TapeDecks )
recordings.

Is there anyway I can improve the sending of signals
with WinLirc & Transmit.exe , or is there another app
that I could use ( in conjunction with WinLirc ) to
transmit IR signals to my VCR... ?
