This is wiki2tex, a versatile converter from Wiki-Markup-Language to LaTex.

For instructions on how to build wiki2tex see INSTALL.

wiki2tex is the first easy-to-use and versatile Wiki-Markup-Language (WML) to LaTeX-converter. wiki2tex is capable of almost all constructions of WML such as headings, ordered/unordered/descriptive lists, tables, hyperlinks, images, code/verbatim-environment, font formatting (bold/italic) and LaTex-commands in HTML-comments. Using a customized template-file one can control the whole output-style, e.g. a simple article or a book with frontpage, table of contents etc.

Its purpose is mainly to enable people to work together on an article/book etc. using the simplicity of a Wiki and at the same time getting a professional print-ready output by just running wiki2tex with wiki-source-file and template-file as input.
