I think it just defaults to running context/main

If you really want a 404 try removing main  it may work?

Now that I see it works, it's weird when you enter a wrong URL and the
default context pops up :) No more 404 errors now means I have to handle
it myself, no biggie though, this is the same thing that happens on my
personal site, luckily, the main program (pyblosxom) does 404's on bad
urls.
