Hi everybody I know my questions is not relation with webmin/virtualmin but maybe they have some sense, so I need to ask how you use php with webmin. 1) You use php as module where the benefit is speed but negative in security. 2 As CGI suPHP where the benefit is security but negative in speed, this use much of load CPU 3) As FastCGI where the benefit is speed and security but use to much of RAM just I need to know your thoughts. -- ppetros |

Not recommended. > 3) As FastCGI where the benefit is speed and security but use to much of RAM > just I need to know your thoughts. PHP running via the FastCGI interface has been shown in numerous benchmarks to be faster, more CPU efficient and lower memory usage than mod_php for a number of workloads (though not all workloads and environments...but enough that it's more likely to be more efficient for you than mod_php is). I like mod_fcgid+suexec+php-cgi |
