Postfix does use the same format, and the sendmail view mailboxes works "out
of the box".
I had to edit the module config to point to postfix's sendmail compatible
binary (/usr/sbin/sendmail) rather than /usr/lib/sendmail.
To send email from the interface, I had to re-instate my /etc/sendmail.cf
(which I fortunately had backed up), and mail sending now works as well. I
presume /etc/sendmail.cf is read to provide the details in the headers, such
as masquerading domains etc.
I haven't been able to test if attachments work, but I would think that this
functionality is handled by MIME, so shouldn't be a problem.
