Hello- I installed the third-party module Dynamic DNS. Has anyone been able to get this to work? There is no help file and the website is no help at all. I already have an account with hn.org and just need to get this software to work. I just can't figure it out. I appreciate any help or comments. Thanks, Mike ===== Said Jesus: "You cannot compel men to love the truth." Page 1713 The Urantia Book __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I played with it a bit and it looks pretty simple: Select a record type in the Query type field. Leave the name blank and click Query. This will bring up a page with a record add or update form in the 2nd half to add a record of that type. If you enter an existing record name in the query form, the resulting form allows you to modify or delete that record. The module lacks the ability to add multiple records with the same name and type, which would be common with MX or NS. The web site shows some other features that are planned for the next version, like more record types, the ability to transfer a zone, and the ability to use DNSSEC to secure transactions. The module uses dig and nsupdate behind the scenes to do its work. Ken mailto:sh...@we... http://www.sewingwitch.com/ken/ [If answering a mailing list posting, please don't cc me your reply.
