Hi, what do I have to do, that the DAV user sees only his userdir? I have enabled DAV login in the usermin and virtualmin konfig. In the usermin config, the point "Allow access to directory" points to "User's home directory". DAV is enabled under /dav and also the user has DAV enabled. With this standard settings, it's not possible to let the user use his home directory I have tried different things, today, only this is working (but it's not the individual user's directory): Alias /dav "/var/www/domains/<$DOM>/homes" <Location /dav> DAV On AuthType Basic AuthName <$DOM> AuthUserFile /var/www/domains/<$DOM>/etc/dav.digest.passwd Require valid-user ForceType text/plain Satisfy All </Location> My virtual user homepath is always located under: /var/www/domains/$DOM/homes The apache2 module userdir is enabled, but do I need to change something in the alias path? It would be great, if anyone can help me here. Best Regards, Carsten |

Is it via Apache, or Usermin, which has it's own built-in DAV support (which doesn't fully work yet, as the Perl modules that implement DAV seem to be broken :-( Also, what error message are you getting? - Jamie |

Well, nothing, because the above config is working, but with the above Alias path, I'm not getting into the special user folder (the syntax is clear to me), so my question is, what do I have to the alias path, that the user is getting his userdir?en Best Regards, Carsten |
