Well, almost... what it actually does is open up a zigfreed worm hole and allows ethereal zombie-wogs into your primary filesystem to eat the files - but yes, the end result is the same... |

thanks! that will allow each user to make a decision about Auto-Clearing... any way to have something like a "default" for all user? (for their spam folder). even if there is not... the auto-clearing is great :) Gracias! You could setup a cron job to do this, if you store spam in Maildir format in directories like ~/Maildir/.spam . It would be something like : find /home/*/Maildir/.spam -type f -mtime +10 | xargs rm Virtualmin Pro has a built-in feature that can do this too, for mailboxes on a per-domain basis. - Jamie On 24/Aug/2007 15:17 Marcos Rubinstein wrote .. > thanks! > > that will allow each user to make a decision about Auto-Clearing... any > way to have something like a "default" for all user? mmm that assumes that each email message is a file (maildir system...) but I have mbox system! (a folder is a single file)... Where is the built-in feature in Virtualmin Pro??? and will it work with the mbox system? True .. which is why I recommend Maildir, as mbox requires far more complex code to delete spam older than some date. It's not something you can just whip up a script to do unfortunately. > Where is the built-in feature in Virtualmin Pro??? and will it work with > the mbox system? On the left menu, under Server Configuration, on the Spam and Virus Delivery page. And yes, it will work with mbox. - Jamie > Gracias :) > Marcos > > On Fri, 24 Aug 2007, Jamie Cameron wrote: > > > You could setup a cron job to do this, if you store spam > > in Maildir format in directories like ~/Maildir/.spam .
