Hi everyone, I'm trying using the "System and Sever Status" to monitoring the = Sendmail Server. It's OK, but when the Sendmail Server is Down, the monitor don't run the = command that I put on the "If monitor goes down, run command" field form = that is "/etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail start" to try start the sendmail = server again. Are you sure it isn't running your command? Sendmail doesn't go down without a reason--does immediately restarting it solve the problem that caused it to stop? If not it will only come back up and go back down immediately...no gain there. Maybe you should try changing the command to: echo 'it worked!' > /root/sysstatus-test.txt If you see that text file appear in your /root directory after Sendmail stops the next time, you'll know the module is working as it should.
