I have a new subnet of IPs I need to get working as a reverse zone. The zone consists of the upper half of a class C range of addresses, so the name of the zone I'm trying to use is XX.YY.ZZ.128/25. The zone seems to get created fine, but when I add a forward name to a zone using one of the addresses in the range, and select the "..." button to select the IP from the list, there are no IPs to select from in the range of the in-addr.arpa that the zone represents. I use XX.YY.ZZ as a name for a complete class C zone, and XX.YY.ZZ.0/25 for a lower half class C zone and they both work. What might be wrong here? Thanks Steve Campbell |
