For SolydXK (a Debian based distribution) I'm trying to create a package that will add extra modules for Webmin. This means I cannot use the Webmin interface to install the modules, but I'm limited to the terminal.

I tried unpacking and copying the modules to /usr/share/webmin/[module_name] and copying the config file to /etc/webmin/[module_name].
However, Webmin is not aware of the new modules, and even refreshing the modules cache doesn't change that.

I presume that there's a database or something similar that needs to be updated as well.

Does anyone know how to install a module without the web interface?

    [SOLVED]

I found out that you need to add the module names to /etc/webmin/miniserv.conf as well.
