I am using Webmin 1.020 on a ClarkConnect v1.2
machine with OpenSSH v3.1p1. When using Webmin to
configure the SSH server, I enabled Use Privilege
Separation option and saved and restarted the SSH
server, which promptly shutdown, complaining that the
UsePrivilegeSeparation option was unknown. I updated
OpenSSH to v3.5p1 and the option is supported. I could
not find which version of OpenSSH introduced the
UsePrivilegeSeparation, but it would appear that at least
v3.1p1 does not support it, so perhaps a version check
could be implemented in the SSH Server module to not
display/set this option on versions which do not support
it.

This is a known problem with 1.020 .. the latest release of
    webmin
is fixed to not set that directive on OpenSSH 3.1, only on
    3.2 and above.
