I had to re-install webmin (.85) on a SPARC running
Mandrake linux 7.1 and noticed that after I did an
uninstall and installed again, when my system starts
up, I get the following messages:
starting webmin [ok]
starting webmin_1 [ok]

If I uninstall and install again, I get a third line
there saying starting webmin_2 [ok]!

Webmin seems to be running fine but I wanna get rid of
the extra "starting....." lines....any ideas on how?

Thanks,
-Nitin

Just use the Bootup and Shutdown module to delete the
    webmin_*
actions - that will fix the problem.

There is only one entry for webmin, I've searched the entire
/etc/ tree and there are no other webmin startup scripts.
    Now I am stumped.

If there are no other webmin* files in /etc/rc.d , then I
    have no idea where
this is coming from .. some mandrake oddity, maybe.
Try running find /etc/rc.d -name "*webmin*"
