Hello,
i use webmin 0.86 for the configuration of my SuSE
Linux 7.2 - System. It worked fine (automatic start
while booting).
One day -i don't know the reason- webmin didn't start
automatically while booting the system. But: it was
possible to start manually (/etc/webmin/start).
Where can i activate an automatic starting once again?
I uninstalled an installed webmin, but only manual
starting was possible since then...

Have you tried using the Bootup and Shutdown module to
make the webmin action start at boot time? Maybe it
    got disabled some how ..

I have exactly the same issue with webmin1.020 on Suse 7.3.
i also start using /etc/webmin/start the terminal tells me
serrvice started then i go to mozilla and...hurrah.

I amstill investigating the reason ( hoping you'll get the
    answer actually)...

    Warmest regards

    Dominick

The cause of this problem is SuSE's habit of re-arranging bootup
scripts based on their BEGIN INIT INFO sections, which
    webmin's script
lacks. The next release of webmin will have one of these
    sections and
    so fix the problem ..
