I have been doing a number of installs using the WCLP 0.7.1.
I found the following problem...
After loading WCLP and rebooting, the text screen (prior to going to X)
flashes on and off. This makes it hard to troubleshoot and is confusing
to others. Once it goes into X, all is good. =20
The resolution was to include 'vga=3D0x0300' in the boot command/kernel
paramters under grub. (btw, I really like grub...)
I would suggest including this as a default for all setups, as old
monitors are common.

I looked this up. It sets the VGA display to a particular mode. Is
it 24x80 mode? Is there anything special about the monitors in question?
Are they only capable of 640x480 or anything like that?
I will look into patching the GRUB options, and let you know how
it turns out.
Thanks for the bug report. We always appreciate your notes from
