I have a device that does not support route commands but I would like to use WANem for testing its network robustness.  I would like to attach it to one NIC card and connect the other NIC card to my network.  I have a PC with two NIC cards loaded with the latest release of WANem but am not having much success routing connections through it.  For the sake of discussion, eth0 is on a 10.3.0.0 subnet, mask 255.255.255.0 and  eth1 is connected to the device under test and can be configured any way necessary.  Any suggestions on how to set this up?

    Thanks.

Assuming that your device can be configured with an IP address.

      One example
Set up your device with IP - 192.168.1.1, MASK 255.255.255.0
On WANEm console set up eth0 with IP - 192.168.1.2, MASK 255.255.255.0
On WANem console do "nat add eth0"

Check it out and let me know.

Sorry I meant you set up eth1 with 192.168.1.2, MASK 255.255.255.0 (not eth0)
