I've built vxl-1.1.0 under Visual Studio.net 2003 and
When I build VXL on Visual Studio .Net , it hangs
my laptop around the point when it is building VNL
libraries. I checked my power settings, and any way I

I'm not an expert in neither vxl or MS VS .Net...
However, I did experience problems when I was building vxl on MSVS. I

I managed to build it in parts or simply when it hanged I restarted the
build. The thing to note is that when I restarted, the last library that
it was building when it hanged gets corrupted. For some reason MSVS
doesn't rebuild it again and all the libraries that depend on this one
have problems. So you need to go to the corresponding directory and
delete the corrupted library. After a few hangs it finally builds it.
Again, this is my experience with vxl and MSVS, but I'm no expert. My
only suggestion is to build it in parts (one core library at a time, for
Hope this helps.
