VXL Maintainers: Yesterday Ian sent an e-mail noting that the V X L DOT O R G (obfuscated on purpose) domain registration by a speculator will expire on February 22 2004. I will take care of attempting to get us this domain name using www.snapnames.com. My plan is to use snapnames in mid-February if the domain name is still set to expire at the end of February. Let me know if you have ever used snapnames, or any other similar service. Perhaps it is paranoid, but I suggest that we avoid using the domain name on the e-mail list so that our interest in it is not discovered by a googling speculator. More importantly, we should not hit the domain with a web browser, triggering the speculator's hit counter. -Thanks for thinking of this Ian.
