Is there any reason why the DartConfig.cmake does not put all the variables
in the cache?
I would like to be able to play about with the dart settings (dropbox, etc),
and modifying the cache is the best way.

You mean for the vxl dashboard? When I was first installing the
dashboard, I wanted to completely separate the client side
functionality from the server side functionality. The DartConfig.cmake
in the repository contains all the information that the client needs,
while, on the server, the included DartConfigServer.cmake contains all
the server variables. I didn't check in the server configuration since
some of it used to be specific to the dashboard machine, and others
specific to the modified Dart server code that I'm using. (For
example, I've modified Dart to send email on broken nightly builds,

For what it's worth, I'm attaching the DartConfigServer.cmake from the
vxl dashboard server. Note that the email delivery options do not
apply to the default Dart source. I'd happy to give you my modified
code if it proves useful.
