JJcao, It seems from looking at the dashboard that a fix for this has been checked in after the release. You should be able to disregard this unless you need the brip library. In other words, the rest of VXL (e.g., vcl, vil, vgl, etc.) should have compiled correctly. Check the online documentation to determine if you are interested in the brip.lib. If so, you can download the latest cvs snapshot or browse the online cvs repository to get the latest brip_vil_float_ops.cxx, where the changes seem to have taken place. However, I'm just guessing from the dashboard information... --Miguel > Dear friends, > I meet another question today when I build VXL 1.4.0 using "msdev > vxl.dsw /MAKE "ALL_BUILD - Win32 Debug" -- INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR > Is it an important issue? > > Best regards, > JJcao > > > --------------------Configuration: brip - Win32 Debug-------------------- > Compiling... > brip_vil1_float_ops.cxx > brip_vil_float_ops.cxx > K:\Program Files\vxl\vxl-1.4.0\contrib\brl\bseg\brip\brip_vil_float_ops.cxx(2697 > ) : fatal error C1001: INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR > (compiler file 'msc1.cpp', line 1794) > Please choose the Technical Support command on the Visual C++ > Help menu, or open the Technical Support help file for more information > > brip_para_cvrg_params.cxx > brip_para_cvrg.cxx > brip_region_pixel.cxx > brip_watershed_params.cxx > brip_watershed.cxx > ... > vbl_smart_ptr+brip_roi-.cxx > Generating Code... > Error executing cl.exe. > > ALL_BUILD - 1 error(s), 5 warning(s) > > > Environment: I've both VC6 and Net 2003 installed in my personal PC. > > Compiler name and version: Microsoft (R) 32-bit C/C++ Optimizing > Compiler Version 12.00.8804 for 80x86 > OS name and version: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, version: 2002, > Service Pack 2 > CPU: Celeron(R) 2.40GHz; Memory: 512M > VXL version: 1.4.0 > CMake version: 2.2 - patch 3 (I did not modify default setting.) > > Thanks > > Best regards > > Jjcao |
