The new vxl/oul tree has some .cc files. When I use cmake to create nmake-make files to compile with
msvc++, "cl" (c++ compiler) does not recognize the .cc suffix and assumes it is an object file.
Should the files be renamed?

I think we should probably add endings of filenames to the VXL list of
coding standards. The ones we mostly use (.c, .cxx, .h, .txx) were carefully
chosen to work with several compilers, etc. If I get time, I guess it would
be a good idea to copy the current list of coding standards into the VXL
book (They're currently in the Zurich meeting minutes.)
