We have been working on the integration of OpenCL GPU code with some VXL
libraries (in a clip-on approach) . There are a few experimental
implementations in brl and gel/mrc/vpgl. To ease cross-contrib dependencies
I would like to add a small library to core that maintains the basics for
OpenCL, so that applications only have to link to core. Is there an
objection to adding a core library, ocl, that handles the basic interface to
GPU programs?
