Hi,

I successfully installed the cmake cross-platform build system on fedora 10 in the user/bin directory using the following instructions:
1. updated the apt database
sudo yum update
2. Installed the dependence libraries
sudo yum install cmake
sudo yum install bison flex fltk boost fltk-devel OpenEXR OpenEXR-devel wxGTK wxGTK-devel
3 I created the folder VXL for my my vxl library and then invoked
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@vxl.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/vxl login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@vxl.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/vxl co vxl
and then checked out the repository
svn co https://vxl.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/vxl/trunk vxl
4. then created 2 other folders: dbg and rel. these folders are in the same directory as vxl.
 directory structure VXL -vxl
                                             -dbg
                                             -rel
5. And then changed to the dbg directory, cd dbg and then performed
 cmake ../vxl

THIS GIVES THE FOLLOWING ERRORS
"
[Risco@localhost dbg]$ cmake ../vxl
