Hi vxl users,

I'm running into some difficulty on compiling vxl 1.14.0, specifically I'm getting the following error messages,

[ 30%] Built target example_create_image_vil
[ 30%] Building CXX object core/vidl/CMakeFiles/vidl.dir/vidl_ffmpeg_convert.o

I am trying to install on a fairly fresh build of ubuntu after following the vxl installation guide. I have looked through the mailing list archives for a similar problem but have not been able to get past this error by using the tips found. Synaptic package manager says that I have ffmpeg version 4:0.6-2ubuntu6 installed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Many thanks in advance,

Phil
