Hello everyone, I'm sorry to bother you guys with so many questions.

After solving the installation problem I had, I am not trying to run the simple image loading program given in the manual.

#include <vcl_iostream.h>
#include <vxl_config.h>
#include <vil/vil_rgb.h>
#include <vil/vil_load.h>
#include <vil/vil_image_view.h>

int main()
{
  vil_image_view<vil_rgb<vxl_byte> > img;
  img = vil_load("img1.bmp");
  vcl_cerr << "Pixel 100,100 = " << img(100,100) << vcl_endl;

  return 0;
}

The libraries I initially linked were vil.lib and  vcl.lib .
If I run these, there are bunch of linking errors with vil_png.obj , vil_tiff.obj, vil_stream_url.obj, vil_jpeg_decompressor.obj, and vil_jpeg_compressor.obj.

So what I did was added links : png.lib, jpg.lib, tiff.lib.  But I did not know what libraries to link for vil_stream_url so I just compiled it again to see what happens.
Errors were reduced but I still get linking errors such as :

vil.lib(vil_stream_url.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __imp__recv@16
png.lib(png.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _crc32
png.lib(pngwrite.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _deflate  .

I thought linking to just vil.lib would have no problems but apparently there are some problems.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong here?
Or is it still a installation problem(something wrong with the libraries).

Thank you,

Seon Joo
