Hi all, I have a jumble of questions today. Hopefully someone can help. - Is it possible to use "Text this" without using an ILS driver? (We're an archive and don't have item records) - When printing a record, URLs are inserted after every link. This makes for a messy print out, especially when there are lots of subjects. I don't see css instructions to do this in print.css, where can I turn this off? - Config.ini has a spot for integrating an AddThis account. I've entered our key, but nothing shows up on the interface. Do I need to enable it somewhere else too? Thanks! Nathan |

1.) If you want to disable the ILS functionality of the SMS feature, you can edit the sendSMS() method of web/services/Record/SMS.php to eliminate the references to the catalog. However, you will also probably want to change Emails/catalog-sms.tpl within your theme to modify the body of the message sent, since the current template expects a call number and location from the driver (though maybe you can just assign these values in a different way). 2.) I believe the visible URLs are coming from this line: "a:link:after, a:visited:after {content:" (" attr(href) ")";font-size:90%;}" - you'll find it not in print.css but rather in blueprint/print.css - a little confusing! 3.) As long as both the "[AddThis]" and "key = ..." lines are uncommented, you should get AddThis controls on the record page. Do you have this turned on a public URL? I can take a look and see if I spot any clues. - Demian From: Nathan Tallman [mailto:nta...@gm...] Sent: Tuesday, February 28, 2012 4:38 PM To: vufind-tech Subject: [VuFind-Tech] SMS/Print CSS/AddThis Hi all, I have a jumble of questions today. Thanks Demian! Regarding AddThis, I had the key uncommented, but not [AddThis], works great now! I have a couple more questions for you. 1) I'm trying to get data from the author2 array to display in the "Similar Items" feature, but I'm not getting the syntax right. All I get is "By: Array". Here's what I'm using, can you make any suggestions? {if is_array($similar.author2)}{foreach from=$similar.author2 item=author2 name=loop} <br/>{translate text='By'}: {$similar.author2|escape} {/foreach}{/if} On Wed, Feb 29, 2012 at 9:01 AM, Demian Katz <dem...@vi...>wrote: > **1.) **If you want to disable the ILS functionality of the SMS > feature, you can edit the sendSMS() method of web/services/Record/SMS.php > to eliminate the references to the catalog. Try changing {$similar.author2|escape} to {$author2|escape} inside your foreach loop. - Demian From: Nathan Tallman [mailto:nta...@gm...] Sent: Wednesday, February 29, 2012 10:47 AM To: Demian Katz; vufind-tech Subject: Re: [VuFind-Tech] SMS/Print CSS/AddThis Thanks Demian!
