Hi, I'm looking at moving our VuFind installation over to https and investigating certificates etc. I have implemented the default-ssl module on our test system and made the change to httpd-vufind.conf as mentioned in the installation notes. It is now working with all the links on the server pointing at https versions of the urls, but there are a couple of issues which have me stumped. The first issue is that in the results list the information about classmarks and availability isn't being pulled from Horizon - all we get is the spinning wheel. Clicking on an individual title brings the information through with no difficulty. The second is that I can no longer login to view my account - I get a message about going over an unsecured connection, click OK to continue and just return to the login screen. I'm wondering if this an issue to do with the installation on the VuFind server, or if it is related to how VuFind interacts with Horizon and the Horizon Information Portal which does not use https? Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated. Check your config.ini file -- do you have any http:// URLs configured in there for VuFind's base address? It may be that you simply need to change an http:// to https:// in order for VuFind to load its Javascript dependencies correctly. If that's not the problem, let us know and I'll see if I can offer some more suggestions. - Demian > -----Original Message----- > From: Tim Fletcher [mailto:T.F...@bb...] > Sent: Tuesday, January 08, 2013 9:45 AM > To: vuf...@li... > Subject: [VuFind-General] Securing VuFind > > Hi, > > I'm looking at moving our VuFind installation over to https and > investigating certificates etc. I have implemented the default-ssl > module on our test system and made the change to httpd-vufind.conf as > mentioned in the installation notes.
