I'd like to use different terms in the search results sort dropdown menu. Which template or config file contains this? Is there as such thing as a roadmap that answers what I'm finding to be my most common VF question (which file controls which feature?)? Thanks Kurt Kurt W. You can make those adjustments in web/conf/searches.ini. As far as documentation goes, most of it is in the wiki, but it's not always easy to find. You might want to start with the configuration page: http://vufind.org/wiki/configuration_and_customization (For this particular instance, the link to the "Customizing and Tuning Search Options" page would have given you the answer... but sometimes asking is easier, and I don't mind answering questions on the list). - Demian > -----Original Message----- > From: Wagner, Kurt [mailto:Wa...@wp...] > Sent: Thursday, December 22, 2011 10:25 AM > To: vufind-general > Subject: [VuFind-General] which template controls sort results > dropdown? > > I'd like to use different terms in the search results sort dropdown > menu. Actually, I should add one qualification -- if you want to change search text, editing searches.ini is the easiest solution if you're running a single-language site. If you need full translation support, the better approach is to edit all the language files in web/lang, since the values from searches.ini get run through the translator before being displayed. - Demian > -----Original Message----- > From: Demian Katz > Sent: Thursday, December 22, 2011 11:33 AM > To: 'Wagner, Kurt'; vufind-general > Subject: RE: which template controls sort results dropdown? > > You can make those adjustments in web/conf/searches.ini.
