Thanks again Roos for your suggestion. It's not the solution,
apparently, but it help circumscribing the issue.

I'm now trying to figure out at what step of the holding process it
fails. I know for sure now that the issue is not Horizon side. I can do
a hold by hand, sending directly requests from a custom script.

Debugging the driver isn't that easy. Any suggestion?
