Hi, I am having some trouble running the index-alphabetic-browse.sh on and 1.2 installation on Solaris 10 sparc box. I get the following error. I am not sure how, but it looks as if the command line is getting corrupted from what is orginally delared in the shell script. --- cut --- + java -Dbibleech=StoredFieldLeech -Dsortfield=title_sort -Dvaluefield=title_fullStr -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -Dfield.preferred=heading -Dfield.insteadof=use_for -cp browse-indexing.jar PrintBrowseHeadings ../solr/biblio/index title_fullStr title.tmp + sort -T /var/tmp -u $'--field-separator=\001' -k1 title.tmp -o sorted-title.tmp sort: illegal option -- field-separator= usage: sort [-cmu] [-o output] [-T directory] [-S mem] [-z recsz] [-dfiMnr] [-b] [-t char] [-k keydef] [+pos1 [-pos2]] files... --- end --- In the script it has: sort -T /var/tmp -u --field-separator=$'\1' -k1 "${browse}.tmp" -o "sorted-${browse}.tmp" but in the error it is: sort -T /var/tmp -u $'--field-separator=\001' -k1 title.tmp -o sorted-title.tmp Anyone got any pointers to what is happening?
