I don't think your PHP version is likely to be the problem -- as far as I know, VuFind should work with either PHP 5.2 or 5.3. Of course, it's always possible that there is some kind of "bleeding edge" bug. Does it help if you try: sudo pear upgrade pear ? What happens if you turn on debug in VuFind and/or look at the Apache error logs? Presumably some PEAR file is missing and is preventing everything from executing, but it might be helpful to know which one. - Demian > -----Original Message----- > From: zebabil [mailto:ze...@gm...] > Sent: Saturday, May 14, 2011 12:42 PM > To: Filipe MS Bento (GMail) > Cc: vuf...@li... > Subject: Re: [VuFind-General] pear problem > > Hi Filipe, > > Thanks for your interest. > As a newbie i couldn't solve the problem. > I've tried the sudo apt-get install --fix-missing php-pear but it > couldn't solve the problem. > > Actually i have installed vufind at ubuntu 10.10 at vmware before. > And nothing happened like this. > Pear or PHP problem.
