Hi Michael,
What ILS are you using? That looks like an oracle error, so maybe the ILS driver is throwing an error because it expects numeric only IDs? All our Solr IDs are alphanumeric and there is no problem from the VuFind end.

Dear all,

Another Friday afternoon question: is it possible to load a record into
VuFind using an alphanumeric ID number, rather than a purely numeric ID?
We have a set of records exported from our archives system which we're
looking at exporting to VuFind, but these use alphanumeric numbering,
and I'd really like to use the same ID key on both systems. The records
load fine, so I'm assuming there's no issue with Solr, but when you try
to view them you get the error message

SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1722 OCIStmtExecute: ORA-01722: invalid
number (/usr/local/php-5.2.6/ext/pdo_oci/oci_statement.c:146)

Anyone know a way of getting this to work?
