I’d recommend using a tool like WinMerge to diff your local templates against the base blueprint ones and see if anything has gotten out of sync since the upgrade. (You could also try temporarily switching to the base blueprint theme in config.ini to narrow down whether the problem is specific to your templates or more generalized).

If it’s a generalized problem, you might also try downloading the latest myresearch/holds.phtml from GitHub and comparing it against your version, in case there’s a fix there.

If none of that helps, or if you need some extra eyes on the problem, let me know and I’ll be happy to offer further assistance.

Hi Demian –

I am using the Blueprint theme.  I do have some customizations in the myresearch templates (I only applied them to the Blueprint theme).

Thanks,

What base theme are you using? Do you have any local customizations to the myresearch templates that need to be resynchronized with the base theme? I just tested the latest code in both blueprint and bootstrap and was unable to reproduce the error. I have a feeling that this bug was already found and fixed (so 2.3 should solve the problem), but I’m having trouble finding either a JIRA ticket or Git commit to confirm that. I’ll be happy to dig a little deeper if you need me to – knowing which theme is impacted should help me narrow my search.

Subject: [VuFind-General] Problem in VuFind 2.2.1 and Cancel Selected Holds

I have stood up a test instance of VuFind ver. 2.2.1.  During testing, I encountered a problem with the Cancel Selected Holds function.  I placed holds on multiple items.  I then went into the Holds (and Recalls) screen and selected only one of the items via checkbox.  I clicked the Cancel Selected Holds button and all of the Holds in my queue were cancelled, not just the ones that were selected via checkbox.

In viewing the request parameters via Firebug, I can see that it looks like the code is ignoring the checkbox selections and sending all item ids in a list (screenshot attached).

I am running VuFind ver. 2.2.1 on windows server 2008 R2 with the Symphony driver (and web services  3.2).  I have the same server, driver and web services configuration running in my production instance with VuFind ver. 2.0.1 and this problem is not occurring.

Thanks,
