Disabling holds in the .ini stops users from placing holds within VuFind, but it doesn’t prevent them from viewing existing holds. If you want to eliminate those, you can customize the menu template
for the myaccount area (let me know if you need more specifics).
VuFind’s Voyager driver expects username = barcode and password = last name; is it possible you are entering the credentials in the opposite order?

Subject: Re: [VuFind-General] library catalog profile and holds
I wanted to find out how to configure options within the Library catalog profile. I am having two issues.
Although I have holds disabled in the ini, both holds and recalls are still showing up within the “Your Account” links on the sidebar
I don’t see how I can sign into my profile (or I am not understanding what this feature does). IOW – vufind is asking for “Library Catalog Username” and “Library Catalog Password” and when I enter the
Voyager credentials (in our case it’s last name and 14 digit barcode), it returns that it is an invalid patron login. Note: I am currently only importing bibs and holdings info into Vufind on a manual basis.
