You can just delete all of the files and subdirectories in the cache directory -- depending on how recent your checkout is, this is either going to be /usr/local/vufind/cache or
/usr/local/vufind/local/cache. For the themes, some of that data also hangs around in the session, which you can reset by logging in and back out again.
I plan on creating a "clear cache" button in an admin area of VuFind as soon as I get around to actually building the admin tools!

Subject: [VuFind-Tech] VuFind 2.0 -- clearing the zend cache?
When I make changes to some of the .ini files (particularly with regard to the search specs, or theme.ini in application/themes) in VuFind 2.0, they don't take effect right away. I assume it's the Zend Cache that's keeping compiled bytecode around in memory.
Is there a technique for clearing out that cache immediately?
