Hello all, again.

If I may (Demian), it is my opinion that technical messages should be sent to the technical VuFind’s ML vufind-tech@lists.sourceforge.net, as for sure most of the vufind-general’ subscribers are not technical oriented or not interested in technical details and we may be taking the risk of vufind-general subscribers start ignoring or bypassing non-technical issues that need assistance or to be discussed (conceptual ideas, improvements, general questions and alike).

And I’m writing this mainly because of my last reply: in my first I redirected to vufind-tech@lists.sourceforge.net, but in this last, I replied directly to all and did not change vufind-general to vufind-tech.

So, vufind-general subscribers please do apologize of not having replied instead to vufind-tech ML.

Thanks,

Filipe

ok I tried to apply the patch file i.e. took the lines out from the original file that had - in the patch file and added the lines in the original file that had + in the patch file.

After the line :

$interface->assign('recordSet', $searchObject->getResultRecordHTML());

in the NewItem.php , I left everything as it is .

But now I get the following error on the screen

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE, expecting T_FUNCTION in C:\vufind\vufind-1.3\web\services\Search\NewItem.php on line 216

Am I supposed to add/remove any more lines?

Attached is my changed NewItem.php file.

Thanks
Ranju
