Demian,

I appreciate your reply.

In Vufind 1.2, we modified a file named layout.tpl located in folder “W:\vufind12\web\interface\themes\default” to add some additional top bar in browsing page.

Now, I get the important information from you that one non-mobile theme blueprint is on by default.

So, I will modify this blueprint theme to make some interface customization.

Thanks a lot!

Subject: RE: to switch theme from root to blueprint

VuFind 2.0 only has one non-mobile theme, blueprint, which is on by default.  The “root” theme is not a displayable theme – it just contains shared resources that are used by both the blueprint and jquerymobile themes.  The old “classic” and “default” themes from 1.x have been deprecated and are not included in 2.0 (due to their reliance on YUI libraries, which made them a maintenance headache).  We will soon be introducing a new alternate theme based on Bootstrap, which will likely be included with VuFind 2.2.

If you let us know exactly what you are hoping to achieve by changing the theme, perhaps we can help you in a different way….

Subject: [VuFind-General] to switch theme from root to blueprint

Could anyone give a light on how to switch theme from root to blueprint?

We are using Redhat 6.4 + vufind 2.0.

It seems that vufind 2.0 is different from vufind 1.2.

Any help is appreciated!
