If the scope of the changes is large, a development branch sounds like a good idea.  If it's relatively small, it might be better to post a patch file in JIRA.  Either way, I agree that we probably don't want to worry about putting it in RC2…  but if it's accessible either through SVN or JIRA, we at least have something we can start playing with in preparation for 1.0.

I have created a usable mobile interface for VuFind; however it is on the roadmap for 1.0 and not RC2.  Is this something that would be of interest to include sooner rather than later, or should I hold off on any commits until after RC2 is cut?  It does have some underlying system changes, which makes me think I should wait til after RC2.  But if there is any interest in getting it out - it is functional.  Maybe I should commit to a development branch?
