This is a good approach, and as long as you are able to obtain
the branch information from your MARC records, it isn’t too difficult!
This wiki page may also be helpful if you want to create a whole
new facet rather than utilizing an existing one (in case you’re already using
collection for something else):

We've mapped libraries to the collection field.
We store library codes in field 991a so this was mapped to
collection field. We also changed the facets ordering, removing the institution
facet as it was not useful and moving up the collection facet.

Instead of showing only the name of the Library in marc_local.properties file,
I want to show all the branch names at faceted search option. The branch names
