I successfully indexed > 100000 records too.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to test the new functionality (especially the custom scripting) soon.

I successfully reindexed all of the Villanova records overnight, so that seems like a good sign.

I don't know for certain, but I don't see why more than two files couldn't work.  As you say, the code (or a bit of testing) holds the sure answer.

Yes, looks like the translation_maps and scripts directories are both defined as constants in the Java code.

I believe that issue has confused me in the past as well.  I suppose we could document it either in marc.properties above the format= line and/or at the top of the relevant beanshell script.
