I use widows vista and i have the same problem. It will log in and then 5 sec later will log me off and shut itself down.
i am getting the same problem. i try to input my ID and pass then it logs me out in a couple of seconds. i tried uninstall/reinstall still no good.
I get the same thing. I try to log in 3 times and the app closes.

I am using XP and it is doing the same thing to me.
I am experiencing the same problem on XP. VonageTalk has successfully logged in 3 times in the last two weeks. The rest of the time it gives an error about username/password and after three attempts, stops the process. For uptime, I will be kind and give it 8 hours. That represents an uptime of less than .024. That's a LONG way from .1 Sigma much less 6 Sigma...
I used to be able to log in. Now it says "Your profile could not be loaded. Choose another profile or creat a new one."
This MAY be because it no longer retains my password, since I retyped it.
I started having the same problem after changing my router from serving DHCP to giving our network fixed IP addresses.
I have uninstalled, and reinstalled. Now instead of just continually trying to log in and failing, it will not even attempt to log in.
Good luck - I don't have time to wait on phone support again.
