  • Dear vTcl users,

    I just discovered this IDE today and I'm very excited about its utilities for GUI design.
    I have a rather simple question and hope to get an answer soon:

    I want to call a label from the  [Attr]:command(...) field of a "button widget". This is the definition of the label inside vTclWindow.top48 proc:

    proc vTclWindow.top48 {base} {
    ....
    ...
    ..
    label $site_3_0.lab62 \         -text {no file selected}
    ....
    ...
    ..
    }

    The variable $site_3_0 is set to .top48.frag49  . I tried the following but none worked:

    .top48.frag49.lab62
    %site_3_0.top48.frag49
    $site_3_0.top48.frag49

    ::widgets::$site_3_0.lab62
    ::widgets::%site_3_0.lab62
    ::widgets::.top48.frag49.lab62

    Please help me, I'm running out of ideas.

    Tom
