If a person's user name and password cannot be found in the table for CS users (i.e. db = drupal, table = users) then it should search the new AAVSO website authentication table (i.e. db = aavso_web, table = users). The field names should be the same in aavso_web.users as in drupal.users. This will open VStar up to the wider AAVSO audience.

Postpone this while we talk about. I have been pushing to have CS and AAVSO user databases merged into one. I don't know if that is on the web team's agenda, though. Secondly, I like the fact that VStar can be used to drive traffic to the CS project. Of course, VStar ultimately should be as easily accessible as possible to all people. But let me think about it and talk to various staff about it. We may want to wait until a later version to do this. Certainly make it a lower priority than the other items that are needed for the September workshop.

Okay, no problem. Thanks for the direction.
