Phase plots should be recomputed when a slider is moved left or right in phase plot mode.

To do this in real time, it may be necessary to recompute only a small portion of the plot, e.g. -1, -0.75, -0.5, -0.25, 0, 0.25 ...
Then, when the slider is released, the full phase plot is recomputed. Optimising the current phase plot would also help. Linear-time
optimisations should be possible by avoiding the need to copy data for previous cycle and standard cycle phases (see separate tracker item).

This was suggested at the NACAA 2010 workshop by Tom Richards.

    This is a compelling feature.

This will be much more realistic to achieve if:

    a. We do not recreate phase plot GUI components, lists each time! Just notify of period change and call setPhases() on each series category list.

    b. Choose just a single series, preferably the one with the least obs. Or some subset of an existing series.

An alternative might be to have the user specify a period range and to have VStar generate an animation of phase plots over that range. This might be useful for:

    a. "Focusing" in on the correct period.
    b. Visualising period change suggested by WWZ.
