Support for BIG-endian platforms discontinued

It is sad, but I got no computer with BIG-endian CPU anymore, like PowerPC and few others. Some parts of code are differently implemented while on LITTLE-endian and BIG-endian machines respectively.

However, if some of you have BIG-endian machine, and be so kind to provide me UNIX shell access to help development of this bot, I would be very happy.

I tried emulation (pear-pc) but it is so slow, e.g. when I press a key, I need to wait for 10 seconds to display it on terminal. It is impossible to work with such environment. For your curiosity, installation of Mac OS X lasts 6 days in pear-pc emulator (I got 2 GHz Athlon XP 2400+).... read more

VooDoo cIRCle 1.0.42 Released

VooDoo cIRCle is scriptable IRC robot written in C++, with advanced access rights for each user, and common features, such as BotNet, allowing linking more bots and replicating configuration between them, FileSystem, allowing sending messages, or files to offline users. It runs under Windows 2000 and later as a service, so it starts up when system boots, and also under Linux and BSD platforms.

This release is important because it introduces new method of how bot generates and uses PHP scripts. It is done via PHP classes, so it is much clear to understand the code bot generates, and writing new scripts. The old method had complicated structure of nested arrays, however it is still possible to use it.... read more

VooDoo cIRCle 1.0.30 Released!

VooDoo cIRCle is an IRC (ro)bot, scriptable, FileSystem, BotNet, advanced security rights for each user. Under Windows, it can be run as Windows service, so it starts up when computer wakes up from restart.

This release is to support developers and to support Linux builing. So far you were able to compile it under Linux by using KDevelop 3 and its project file, under Windows(TM) using MSVC++ 7. I have reviewed old project files for Dev-C++, KDevelop and Borland C++ Builder 5, and made them usable (because there were some changes, such as new source files addition to the project, which might be missing in old project files). In source package there is file (in root) containing documentation how to build it under:
1. Windows - MSVC 7
2. Windows - Dev-C++ 4.9.9.1
3. Windows - BCB 5
4. Linux - GCC 3.3.2 (using command line)
5. Linux - KDevelop... read more
