Hello,
I tried to compile TightVNC-unix 1.2.3 on Sun Solaris 2.8 (Sparc).
Making World in the directory Xvnc produces the following output:
Undefined first referenced
symbol in file
cfb32StippleStackTE cfb32/libcfb.a(cfbglblt8.o)
cfb32StippleStack cfb32/libcfb.a(cfbglblt8.o)
cfbStippleStackTE cfb/libcfb.a(cfbglblt8.o)
cfbStippleStack cfb/libcfb.a(cfbglblt8.o)
ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to Xvnc

Which libraries do I need ???

Regards
Thorsten Bonda

See bug #548081. I cured this with

    echo '#define AsmDefines' >> Xvnc/config/cf/vnc.def

(need to remake at least Makefile and stip*.o in the
cfb and cfb32 directories after you do this - or just
    make World again.)

Current version should build better, thanks to Ki Networks,
Inc. Also, precompiled binaries are available for many Unix
    systems, see ftp://ftp.kinetworks.com/tightvnc/
