#3 Problems compiling on Solaris 6

No

I can't get TightVNC to compile on Solaris 6. I hit
some error in a Makefile for vncviewer. When I run
"make Makefiles", make complains:

make: Fatal error in reader: Makefile, line 552:
Unexpected end of line seen

It's not a problem in Solaris' make as I suspected
because on Linux, using GNU make, everything compiled
like a breeze. I installed GNU make on Solaris, but I
got exactly the same message.

I don't know much about Makefiles, so perhaps I should
be asking this question on comp.lang.make or something,
but maybe an answer here would help more people with
the same problem.

Greetings,

Hans

This is a known problem. You'll have to change the last line
    in vnc_unixsrc/vncviewer/Imakefile from

    ComplexProgramTargetNoMan(vncviewer)

    to

    ComplexProgramTarget(vncviewer)

    Ok, that worked. Thanks.
