TightVNC: 1.3.10 released

TightVNC is a free remote control package derived from the popular VNC software. With TightVNC, you can see the desktop of a remote machine and control it with your local mouse and keyboard, just like you would do it sitting in the front of that computer.

Version 1.3.10 fixes various bugs, includes a number of impovements and introduces a version of TightVNC for U3 flash drives.

TightVNC 1.2.3 released

TightVNC is an enhanced version of VNC, a popular free cross-platform remote control package.

New TightVNC 1.2.3 release features greatly improved Java viewer and support for wheel mouse events in the Win32 version. Also, two important security problems were fixed. Several patches from Red Hat vnc RPMs were incorporated into the main codebase. Manual pages for Unix version were prepared. Other changes include usual minor improvements, bugfixes and cleanups; for details, see the WhatsNew file available on Web site and within the distribution.

TightVNC 1.2.1 released
