Heyaz. The EchoVNC launcher for firefall-friendly
VNC connections works with TightVNC on Linux platforms now:
Works like this:
1. Install a TightVNC server normally, on a Windows PC.
2. Install EchoVNC for Windows alongside that TightVNC
server. During installation, EchoVNC will prompt you
to keep using TightVNC, and to login to an echoServer.
3. Install EchoVNC for Linux on your Linux PC. Login to
the same echoServer with it.
Using the EchoVNC for Linux GUI, you can get a
list of available connection partners on the echoServer,
and point&click to start the xtightvnc viewer to one of
them, all without any port-forwarding or firewall adjusts.
