Trying to use V. 2.6 to connect to an Intel vPro KVM enabled system. This error comes up right after clicking connect:

"Error in TightVNC Viewer: Unsupported protocol: RFB 004.000"

Thanks you for your report.
Now, version 4.0 is proprietary and isn't support in TightVNC.
We will try to solve the connection problem with vPro in future version of TightVNC.

This problem will be fixed in TightVNC 2.7.
You can test the fix in the prerelease version 2.6.94.
